Role Overview:

Position:

Airframe Design Engineer

Location:
Fort Worth, TX (On-Site)

Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in airframe design with a strong technical background.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, V6, or 3DX is essential.
- Familiarity with general part sizing and GD&T is required.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is necessary.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written) are crucial.

Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed, assembly, and installation airframe 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering bills of materials.
- Review design definitions to ensure adherence to requirements.
- Engage in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design under the guidance of a technical lead.
- Conduct research and develop solutions pertinent to projects or assignments.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and specialty teams to resolve issues, ensuring compliance with program schedules and cost constraints.
- Innovate and advance the state-of-the-art through creative thinking, research, technical compliance, and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Understanding of Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Maintenance processes is advantageous.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software, such as ENOVIA, is preferred.

Education:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
