Position: Risk Adjustment Auditor
Our client is in search of a skilled Risk Adjustment Auditor to enhance their auditing team on a contractual basis. The perfect candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, and focused on process improvement.

Work Environment:
This position is fully remote, available to residents of specific states.
Core working hours are required in the Pacific Time Zone, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough chart reviews to verify the precision of risk adjustment reporting.
2. Detect and report trends in provider coding and documentation practices.
3. Assist in risk mitigation assessments.
4. Stay updated on regulatory standards and industry best practices.
5. Contribute to ongoing enhancements in processes and systems.

Qualifications:
- Required certifications: CPC and CRC.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in risk adjustment coding or auditing.
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-9-CM/ICD-10 coding guidelines.
- An associate degree in Healthcare or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as Epicor) and intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- Must possess a proactive and organized approach with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical abilities with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
