Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Internal Medicine APP Fellow. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Documentation: Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, perform procedures as needed, collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, provide consultative services to other healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner Studies or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
  • For APRNs - Acute Care certification is highly desired
  • Experienced providers must have worked in an inpatient setting
  • Certification by a nationally recognized certification organization
  • Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska and Iowa
  • BLS
