Project Planning and Schedule Control

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Scheduling Expert to lead project planning and schedule control efforts. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely project delivery, and providing expert guidance on scheduling best practices.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain integrated project schedules, including Level 1 and Level 2 schedules, to ensure accurate project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Provide leadership and expertise on project scheduling, progress measurement, and change management to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Develop and review schedule corrective actions and recovery plans to mitigate delays and ensure project completion within scope, time, and budget.
  • Analyze schedule trends, progress, and forecasting data to inform project decisions and optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintain close liaison with the Functional Organization, advising on scheduling best practices and collaborating on project controls tools, reports, and schedules.
  • Drive capital efficiency initiatives across projects, leveraging Primavera and Aucerna EXECUTE to streamline scheduling processes and improve project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit teams to develop Level 3 schedules, track weekly progress, and provide analysis and recommendations for efficient operations.
  • Provide regular updates on integrated schedule performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • 20+ years of prior oil and gas industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Advanced competency in Primavera Project Planner (P6) and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
