We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular ICU, utilizing the nursing process and standards of nursing care.
- Assess patients for desired and undesired changes in their mental/physical condition, and report appropriate information to responsible physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and goals.
- Provide education to patients and families, including medical and nursing plans of care, medications, tests and procedures, disease process, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate of a school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree or diploma.
- Active Florida RN license or active multi-state RN license.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current AHA Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing (BSN).
- National certification in areas of practice (e.g. CCRN).
- Member of national professional organization.
