Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans to ensure the District's financial stability and growth.
  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the accounting services, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, laws, and District policies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Vice Chancellor and other senior leaders to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to District departments and programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Proven track record of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
