Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Customer Service Representative to join our team at ProMedica. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, handling confidential information, and resolving client issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide quality reporting of patient results and track specimens, billing, and distribution of results
  • Comply with accreditation and regulatory requirements by attending in-services and continuing lab education

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of college or 2 years of experience in a hospital, computer, or office environment
  • Preferred medical terminology and previous customer service experience
  • Ability to input and retrieve information from computer and type 35 wpm
  • Ability to operate copy machine and various office equipment
