Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to identify and address the unique needs of each student. This will involve assessing students' abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services to help students achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess students' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including fine and gross motor skill development, sensory integration, and self-care
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students' learning
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Valid California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT) license
  • One year of experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
