Responsibilities:


Oversee the management of mortgage origination, lead a team of mortgage loan officers, and represent Grow Financial within the community.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and secondary market guidelines, including Fannie Mae and FHA/VA, related to the origination, processing, and sale of mortgage loans.

Collaborate with members, credit union staff, external vendors, and realtors. Responsibilities encompass marketing, compliance, and training. Partner with Underwriting, Quality Control, Compliance, and Mortgage Operations to meet departmental objectives. Drive the strategic growth of the Real Estate department and promote home ownership across all market segments.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

A minimum of five years of experience in mortgage origination and sales is required.

At least three years of leadership experience managing and mentoring team members is essential.

Knowledge of secondary market guidelines, including automated underwriting, is necessary.

Ability to thrive in a multi-tasked, deadline-driven environment, with strong prioritization skills.


Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills, with the capacity to adapt to changes in responsibilities driven by internal, market, or regulatory factors.


Physical Demands:
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.

Must be able to sit for extended periods.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and type in English.

Must be able to hear and use a telephone.

Use of a computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment:
This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with the option to work from various locations as needed.

Occasional travel between different locations may be required as part of the role.
