AVP - Global Fund Finance at Blackstone Credit

Our portfolio encompasses $1 trillion in assets under management, including investment vehicles in private equity, real estate, public debt and equity, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, opportunistic investments, non-investment grade credit, real assets, and secondary funds on a worldwide scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the NAV finalization process, ensuring accurate P&L reconciliation and allocation to investors for both open-ended and closed-ended private funds engaged in credit strategies. Investigate and resolve discrepancies with external fund administrators and internal teams.
- Oversee the calculation and distribution of management and performance fees, ensuring compliance with the governing documents of the funds.
- Review capital activities, allocations, and notifications.
- Authorize client capital account statements produced by third-party administrators.
- Examine annual audited financial statements and coordinate with external auditors during the year-end audit process.
- Prepare or review performance reports, Blackstone reporting deliverables, and other ad hoc requests from clients or management.
- Prepare and/or review regulatory filings, investor communications, and tailored client reports.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, including Operations, Investor Relations, Management Reporting, Tax, and Legal and Compliance.
- Work alongside offshore teams to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of necessary documentation.
- Approve expense allocations, operating budgets, and vendor payments.
- Review fund legal documents and continuously improve processes and templates.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting, fund management, or administration.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CFA designation is preferred.
- Experience with credit products such as loans, CLOs, bonds, and revolvers is advantageous.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, integrity, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, summarize issues, and formulate recommendations or decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
