POSITION SUMMARY

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our products through rigorous inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct SEA inspections, utilizing precision tools such as micrometers and depth gauges to assess imperfections.
  • Operate inspection equipment under supervision, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
  • Follow all NOV Company and HSE policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Keep your work area and surrounding spaces clean and organized.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with drill pipe inspection and handling is essential.
  • Previous experience in inspection roles is required.
  • BIT and MAG II Certification is a must.
  • Completion of Level II PT and/or UT Certification and/or EMI Certification classes is necessary.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members on the inspection line.
  • Demonstrated self-initiative and strong leadership capabilities.
  • Capacity to make independent decisions.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, is essential.
  • Level 2 certifications in MFLT, MT, PT, EMI, UT Thickness, BHA, and Drill Pipe are preferred. UT Shear Wave certification is an advantage.
