Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing educational and technical expertise to dental students, residents, and fellows, as well as delivering high-quality patient care in our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement didactic, preclinical, and clinical education programs for dental students, dental hygiene students, and residents and fellows.
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • Participate in service to the University community and beyond, including supervision of clinical teams and oversight of sedation.
  • Assist in advising clinical competency metrics for oral/maxillofacial surgery and serve as a course director for oral and maxillofacial surgical curriculum.
Requirements
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program.
  • Completion of an ADA-accredited clinical specialty program in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Eligibility for a Nebraska dental license and moderate sedation permit.
