Surgical Oncology Division Director

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Division Director to lead our expanding Surgical Oncology Division. As a key member of our Department of Surgery, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our surgical oncology services, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving strategic growth initiatives within the institution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Surgical Oncology Division, overseeing the development and implementation of strategic plans to advance the field of surgical oncology.
- Provide exceptional clinical care to patients, including surgical oncology services, and contribute to the academic mission of the department through teaching and research.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure the effective operation of the division.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical oncology and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CSMC Medical Staff Membership.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted California license as Physician and Surgeon.
- Published author of peer-reviewed articles, with ability to serve as principal or co-investigator.
- Eligible for recommendation to the appropriate academic rank to the Medical Center's professoriate series.
- Track record of excellence in teaching, patient care, leadership, and administration.
