Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at American Esoteric Laboratories. As a key member of our front-line healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process blood and non-blood specimens from patients of all ages.
  • Perform venipuncture and other phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control in all aspects of laboratory operations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
  • Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
