Job Summary:

Muskego Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their occupational therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement and document occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and education, to help residents achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to occupational therapy services.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
  • Ability to maintain current licensure and certification through ongoing continuing education and professional development.
