School Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled School-Based Registered Nurse to join our team in Lake Stevens, WA.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, onsite position working 35-37.5 hours per week during the school year. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of nursing experience and be licensed to practice in Washington state.
The successful candidate will provide medical care and support to students with various health needs, including those with disabilities. They will work closely with parents, guardians, and other healthcare providers to develop individualized healthcare plans.
Responsibilities- Healthcare Provision: Assess and respond promptly to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.
- Health Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
- Educational Support: Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
- Disability Accommodations: Provide accommodations for students with disabilities as needed, per school requirements.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Washington state.
- At least 1+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric or related healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of childhood illnesses and injuries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
$37-$45 per hour (Registered Nurse) or $31-$36 per hour (Licensed Practical Nurse).
