Key Responsibilities- Assist pathologists in the examination of tissue and cell samples
- Prepare and process tissue and cell samples for examination
- Perform grossing and dissection of tissue samples
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory procedures and results
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations
- 2 years of experience as a Pathology Assistant
- ACLS certification for certain RNs
- BLS certification for all RNs, OR Techs, Surg Techs, Patient Transporters, Medical Assistants, and Phlebotomists
- PALS certification for RNs working in specified units
- CNOR certification for OR RNs
- EFM AWHONN certification for RNs working in Labor and Delivery
- IV Certification for certain roles
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification potentially required
- NIH Stroke Certification necessary for specific units
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
