About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Army Training Management Specialist to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Army National Guard Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Management: Develop and implement training plans and programs to support Army National Guard units, focusing on maneuver warfare and training operations.
  • Doctrinal Expertise: Provide expert guidance on current Army maneuver doctrine and processes, identifying emerging trends and best practices.
  • Training Support: Deliver over-the-shoulder training support to Army National Guard units, focusing on operations process, army design methodology, and information collection.
  • Exercise Design: Design and develop scenario-based exercises to support unit commander training objectives, incorporating live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVC-G) training methods.
  • Training Materials Development: Create doctrinally current training materials, including operations orders, reports, briefings, and workshop materials.
  • Advisory Role: Serve as an advisor, trainer, and training SME for division and below units, providing guidance on training operations and doctrine.
  • Event Planning: Plan, coordinate, and execute training events, including field training exercises (FTXs), command post exercises (CPXs), and other supporting events.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports on training events, including final exercise reports (FERs) and other supporting documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of combined staff experience within the WFF, or 8 years of specialized MCTSP experience in a similar duty position.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any subject, with a Master's degree preferred. Completion of the Command and General Staff College or equivalent level military schooling is also preferred.
  • Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
