- Manage nursing team resources, including human and fiscal resources, to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Use data and information to evaluate and promote change in patient care practices.
- Embody concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale.
- Adapt behavior to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment.
The RN Leader will work in a patient care area, interact with patients, and may be exposed to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent may also be at risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste.
