- Take responsibility for seeking and achieving professional growth and continued education, ensuring quality of work performed by all associates.
- Coordinate services to customers in a manner that provides customer satisfaction and cost-efficient operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform all duties of a phlebotomist, including specimen collection, receiving, and send-outs, as well as preparing specimens for referral to outside labs.
- Operate the laboratory computer system to document specimen information, patient registration, order entry, collection lists, and other assigned tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including stand-by/on-call, inventory, special projects, cross-training, and completing associate performance evaluations and annual competency assessments.
- High School diploma or equivalent, with diploma or transcript required at time of hire.
- Completion of a Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory, or Medical Assistant program that includes phlebotomy preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, computer data entry, and organizational skills.
- One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Certification from a National Accredited Program preferred.
PRN, Per Diem As Needed.
