PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX. As a member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role
  • Perform complex Nuclear Medicine studies, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions.
  • Conduct daily quality control checks on Nuclear Medicine equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
  • Assay and administer radio pharmaceuticals, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with Diagnostic Imaging team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Flex to accommodate varying patient volumes and support the team as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree of Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine or related field.
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) or equivalent certification.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist/Nuclear (ARRT(N)) and/or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification.
