We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DispatchHealth Medical Technician - Paramedic to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with physical exams, point-of-care testing, treatments, and data gathering
  • Work at the direction of a virtual DispatchHealth Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
  • Communicate with healthcare providers via messaging, video conference, and mobile device
  • Obtain patients' vital signs and assist in collecting patient data
  • Facilitate physical exams using mobile devices and conduct diagnostic tests and treatments as requested by virtual providers
  • Perform point-of-care lab testing as directed by virtual providers
  • Responsible for equipment use, care, and allocation
  • Restock and clean equipment at the end of shifts

Requirements:

  • Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification (EMT-P) in good standing
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment
  • Previous experience in comprehensive history gathering and documentation within EMR
  • Ability to work a varied schedule with evenings, holidays, and weekends
