We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About This Role

This is an in-person position, working 1 day per week (8am-4pm) Tuesdays. As a Medical Examiner, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused physical exams on each Veteran.

Your duties will include:

  • Reviewing electronic medical records to gather relevant information
  • Conducting in-person physical exams on Veterans
  • Documenting exam findings electronically through the web portal

You will NOT make disability determinations, as this responsibility lies with the United States Veterans Administration. Instead, you will provide medical opinions based on your examination results.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. You should also be proficient in using a computer and able to analyze data from medical records.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary, estimated at around $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you will receive:
