Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at the Central City Community Health Center. The ideal candidate will have a medical degree and significant experience in pediatric medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations on newborns and young children to assess their health and development.
  • Determine the condition of sick children and gather information about symptoms.
  • Develop informed diagnoses based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history.
  • Prescribe medications and provide instructions for administration.
  • Interpret lab tests for possible infections or abnormalities.
  • Administer vaccines according to the governmental vaccination plan.
  • Treat injuries and refer patients to other disciplines as necessary.
  • Advise parents on children's diet, exercise, and disease prevention measures.
  • Keep updated records of patients' illnesses and surgeries.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • 5+ years' experience in pediatric medicine.
  • Licensed in the state.
  • Board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • DEA certified.
  • Experience with EHR preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal clinic environment with walking, standing, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain patient confidentiality.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
