Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Pottsville, PA.



This is a full-time position offering a competitive annual salary of $90,000, commensurate with experience.



Job Description:

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing tax compliance, planning, and reporting activities for our clients.



  • Oversee and manage tax compliance for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • Provide strategic tax planning advice to optimize financial performance;
  • Conduct financial analysis to ensure accurate preparation of tax returns;
  • Collaborate with clients to address tax-related queries and concerns;
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to maintain expertise and provide informed guidance.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, preferably with a CPA or advanced degree;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role;
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations;
  • Experience with tax provision software and ERP systems;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities;
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.

Schedule:

This is a Monday-Friday position with the possibility of extended hours/weekends as needed.



Relocation:

Relocation to Pottsville, PA is required prior to start date.
