Electrical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Specialist to join our team at Agtegra Cooperative. As an Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing electrical repairs, inspections, and new installations at our grain, fertilizer, and agronomy facilities.

• Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning components, systems, and equipment using electrical testing tools and equipment.
• Electrical Inspections: Inspect electrical components to identify defects, hazards, or need for repair or adjustment to ensure compliance with codes.
• Electrical Installations: Install electrical wiring, fixtures, components, and equipment in accordance with electrical standards and code.
• Material Handling Equipment Maintenance: Complete routine inspections of the material handling equipment hazard monitoring systems.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy, and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.

• Electrical License: Must possess a valid electrical license.
• Education and Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License; Class A CDL preferred.
• Eligibility to Work in the United States: Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• English Proficiency: Must possess English proficiency.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
• Ability to Work in Elevated Areas: Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to Work in Confined Spaces: Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to Work Overtime: Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
