Electrical Systems Specialist Opportunity

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team in the Bath, Bristol, Ipswich, Roscoe, Mellette, Redfield, or Huron area. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will work with our grain, fertilizer, and agronomy facilities on electrical equipment and hazard monitoring, including performing electrical repairs, inspections, and new installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose malfunctioning components, systems, and equipment using electrical testing tools and equipment.
  • Inspect electrical components to identify defects, hazards, or need for repair or adjustment to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Install electrical wiring, fixtures, components, and equipment in accordance with electrical standards and code.
  • Complete routine inspections of the material handling equipment hazard monitoring systems.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy, and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
Requirements:
  • Electrical License required.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License; Class A CDL preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
