Key Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with clients through both incoming and outgoing manual calls, as well as automated dialer-generated outbound calls.
  • Records calls and client information in a computerized tracking system.
  • Confirms and updates client demographic details such as address and phone number in digital records.
  • Reviews and interprets documents, including patient orders.
  • Understands pharmacy prescription terminology.
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Assists in training new staff members.
  • Calculates figures related to frequency and dosages dispensed.
  • Applies logical reasoning to execute oral and written instructions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background, or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Must fulfill any necessary licensing requirements for the specific role.
  • Experience with computer data entry is essential.

Physical Requirements:

The employee may occasionally need to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
