About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at Lighthouse Psychiatry Brain Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients for medical symptoms and provide medical intervention as needed.
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations and provide strong listening and communication skills.
  • Explain administrative procedures to patients and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Be courteous and tactful with patients, visitors, and the public, while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Follow established treatment and office procedures, maintaining a high degree of accuracy regarding all details.
  • Provide medical coverage to other licensed professionals and be physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in medicine (MD, DO) or professional degree (NP) with advanced training or certification in mental health.
  • Active DEA license required.
  • Board-certification in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • Holds active Arizona state licensure.
  • Holds active malpractice liability insurance.
  • Specific fund of knowledge in the area of mental health, primary care, internal medicine, and/or integrative care.
  • 5+ years experience working in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, and/or integrative care.
  • No history of state board disciplinary action or sanction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience.
  • Proficient in EMR/EHR platforms.
  • Proficient in completing clinical notes with 24-hours.
  • Experience addressing any patient's medical conditions or symptoms, including advanced life support certification.
  • Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device.
  • Travel to more than one office location.
  • Able to work in-office and remote virtual office.
