We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Dominion Property Restoration Services, Inc.

A leading mid-sized specialty contractor located in Alexandria, Virginia, we specialize in Structural Concrete Repairs, Waterproofing, Masonry, Specialty Coatings, and more, with a focus on both commercial and government projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial and government projects
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements
  • Develop detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the bidding process
  • Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Stay current with industry trends and pricing
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating for commercial and government projects
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
