Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Technician plays a vital role in our team's success. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional patient support to ensure they reach their recovery objectives and improve their well-being.
  • Assisting therapists with non-clinical tasks and accommodating patients' needs to support their success in therapy.
  • Educating patients on equipment usage, ensuring safe and correct application.
  • Assisting patients with light exercises and strengthening techniques.
  • Applying therapeutic modalities, such as heat/ice packs and electrical stimulation, as directed by therapists.
  • Ensuring 360-degree communication with patients, physicians, and staff members, including necessary follow-ups.
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with patients and staff, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Preparing and keeping treatment areas clean and organized, ensuring all equipment is sanitized after use.
  • Complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintaining productivity and observing patient progress, reporting any changes to Physical Therapists.
Qualifications
  • No required education or experience necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ideal candidate will be pursuing a physical therapist or other healthcare degree.
  • Must be committed to Team's initiative of making Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion a priority, bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce.
