Position Overview:

VML South Africa is in search of a Financial Analyst to undertake a variety of daily tasks, including analytical reporting and special projects as assigned.

The primary focus will be to support Financial Leadership in financial reporting while fostering a collaborative environment across the organization, demonstrating reliability, independence, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate | Engage with internal account teams for job analysis.
  • Understand the work | Prepare monthly revenue calculations and maintain all necessary documentation for audit purposes, oversee revenue forecast files across all Central Region offices, create weekly revenue presentations, assist in implementing audit compliance processes, provide guidance on client billing, and finalize media cost reconciliations.
  • Maintain security | Uphold the highest level of security and confidentiality for all company and client records.
  • Trust in the process | Support accounting processes and procedures to ensure accurate accounting practices and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience is required.
  • Experience in Revenue Recognition is essential.
  • SOX experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and create formulas for use in computerized programs.
  • Proficient technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is preferred.
