Direct Support Professional

Sevita, a leading provider of community-based services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Assist with transportation and outings, ensuring safe and enjoyable experiences for individuals.
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining daily living skills, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement individualized plans to support individuals' therapeutic and behavioral needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Successful clearance of background checks.
- Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
