Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team. As a Personal Banker, you will play a key role in building relationships with our customers and helping them achieve their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Building
  • Work with customers to understand their financial needs and goals, and provide them with tailored financial solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Financial Solutions
  • Assist customers with opening new accounts, accepting deposits, processing loan payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Help customers navigate our financial products and services to meet their needs.
  • Transaction Processing
  • Process transactions such as cashing checks, issuing money orders and cashier's checks, and balancing ATMs and cash on hand.
  • Ensure all cash and coin is secured in accordance with bank policy when not in use.
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions.
  • Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers in the lobby and on the phone to assist, educate, and train them on how to conduct transactions through self-service technologies.
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
  • High school degree or higher - preferred.
  • Minimum of six months' previous banking or customer service experience.
  • Minimum of six months' cash handling experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
  • Displays passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves our customers' financial lives.
  • Excellent communication skills that build customer relationships based on trust.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet our customers' needs.
  • Ability to work location hours, including some weekends and evenings.
