DC Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DC Manager in Training to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As a key member of our distribution center operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall distribution center operations, including customer service, asset management, financials, and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of the distribution center, including physical assets, operating costs, safety, loss prevention, inventory integrity, and team members.
- Manage all distribution center expenses and approve and sign off on all expenses.
- Ensure timely delivery, accuracy of shipments, and good customer relations.
- Ensure compliance with company operations, policies, and procedures daily.
- Manage all salary and hourly team members, providing excellent leadership, training, and guidance throughout the DC.
- Work with the Regional DC Director to establish annual goals and the plan to follow for accomplishing those goals.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to support team members and others as needed to ensure effective recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
- Conduct timely evaluations of all team members.
- Work with the Regional DC Director to prepare annual operating, labor, and capital expenditure budgets.
- Ensure a safe working environment and aggressively manage all risk and risk-related costs.
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Excellent leadership and people skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Above-average computer skills
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks at one time and prioritize accordingly
- 4+ years of successful management or assistant management in a distribution center
- College degree or logistics certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
