Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in the K-12 educational setting, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address speech and language goals.
  • Collaborate with the SLP and interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement effective intervention strategies, including conducting screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the overall success and well-being of students.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
  • Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
  • Previous experience working with middle school students is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
