Position Overview

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) role at Cleveland Children's Clinic is essential in delivering therapeutic services to children and their families. This position allows you to significantly contribute to the emotional health of our young clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions with children and teenagers.
  • Evaluate the psychological needs of clients and create tailored treatment strategies.
  • Utilize proven therapeutic methods to assist children in coping with emotional difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Ensure the maintenance of precise and confidential client records.
Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Mississippi is required.
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is necessary.
  • Experience with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
