Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary: Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This role involves providing speech and language therapy to students, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs). While experience in a school setting is preferred, Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students' communication needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Keep accurate and timely records of services provided to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Attend IEP meetings to help set educational goals for students and ensure their progress is tracked.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
  • State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP is necessary.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not required for CF applicants.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
