Key Responsibilities of a Senior Automotive Repair Specialist:- Execute a diverse array of automotive repairs across various makes and models, with a focus on routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire installations.
- Analyze Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and other service guidelines to address customer needs effectively.
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately and provide comprehensive repair estimates for a wide range of vehicles.
- Uphold a professional demeanor while ensuring the workshop is organized and operational.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy inspections.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs efficiently, identifying defects and troubleshooting them with optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with the Reconditioning Manager and Chief Operations Officer to discuss vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
- Support fellow technicians by sharing expertise and monitoring their performance.
- Document all repairs and concerns within the dealership system.
- Test and adjust systems to align with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality within the shop.
- Conduct test drives to evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
- ASE certification is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in computer and smartphone applications.
