Position Overview

As a CNC Machine Operator in our Engineering Division, you will play a vital role in our production workflow, ensuring the efficient operation of our cutting-edge machinery. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about engineering and detail-oriented work. You will operate advanced 5-axis CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other equipment, contributing significantly to the production of high-quality components that meet our stringent standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other equipment to manufacture parts to exact specifications.
  • Utilize Mastercam software for creating and modifying CNC programs.
  • Conduct quality control inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure compliance with specified tolerances.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machinery and equipment issues.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes by suggesting and implementing efficiency enhancements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role within the engineering sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of CNC machine operation, including 5-axis machines, lathes, and mills.
  • Proficient in Mastercam software for creating and modifying CNC programs.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with CMM for quality control inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
