Croda's Atlas Point manufacturing facility is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Specialist/Engineer (SHE Advisor) to provide technical assistance for our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. This role will support operations, laboratory, and maintenance functions, including related construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide EHS guidance and management to ensure site operations comply with federal, state environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement programs/operational processes to identify, assess, manage, and control environmental operational hazards/risks.
- Reinforce a culture where environment, health, and safety are ingrained as core values with all employees.
- Maintain facility conditions in preparation for compliance inspections and audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Science, or an Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Excellent computer, communication, and training skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, attention to detail, and motivation.
