Job Summary:

Capital Caring Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Inpatient Unit team. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your expertise will be essential in delivering compassionate and individualized care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
Prepares clinical notes and progress notes documenting patient outcomes and interventions.
Assists physicians and registered nurses in performing specialized duties and procedures related to end-of-life care.
Observes and reports patient/family response to care.
Prepares equipment and supplies for treatment that require adherence to sterile and aseptic techniques.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including teaching and learning self-care techniques.

Requirements:
One year of recent nursing experience.
Experience in home care nursing and care of the terminally ill and their families is preferred.
LPN from a NLN-accredited nursing program.
Medical licensure from the governing body for medical practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia.
