Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Referral Coordinator to join our team at TrueCare. As a Referral Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, processing, and obtaining prior authorizations for medical referrals. You will also collaborate with other referral staff, medical providers, and patient care support staff to ensure successful tracking and coordination of referrals.

This role is located at our Patient Navigation Center in Oceanside and requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for serving the community. If you have experience working in a fast-paced office environment and are proficient in medical terminology and procedures, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process medical referrals
  • Obtain prior authorizations and request reports
  • Collaborate with referral staff, medical providers, and patient care support staff
  • Ensure successful tracking and coordination of referrals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
