Key Responsibilities:

- Create a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment for all participants.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for skiing.
- Adapt to and work in challenging winter weather conditions.
- Maintain a positive guest service attitude while instructing beginners.
- Be available during peak holiday periods.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Dependability and punctuality are crucial.
- PSIA/AASI Certified Level 1 or equivalent certification is preferred.
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and sharing knowledge of skiing.
- Strong guest service skills.
- A willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Basic proficiency in English.
- Previous experience in ski instruction is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Capability to ski for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
- Willingness to teach in various winter weather conditions.
Work Environment:
This role primarily takes place outdoors in winter conditions, with varying temperatures and visibility challenges.
Position Type and Work Hours:
This position can be full-time, part-time, or temporary based on availability. Typical working hours are from morning until late afternoon, with some evening programs available.
