Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infant Education Specialist to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of our infant students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our educational team to design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that fosters independence, exploration, and deep learning in our infant students.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a beautiful, orderly, and nurturing environment that promotes trust, exploration, and self-confidence in our students.
  • Child-Centered Approach: Implement a child-centered approach to education, observing each child closely to understand and meet their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate respectfully with parents to provide the best possible care and education for every child.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Pursuing or have obtained a Montessori diploma through our Prepared Montessorian Institute or have equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting, such as daycare, aftercare, or nursery.
  • Skills and Qualities: Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori, early childhood education credits, and a bachelor's degree in any subject.
