We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Custodial Services Manager to join our team at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. As a Custodial Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of custodial staff, training new employees, and ensuring the hospital's facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of custodial staff, scheduling shifts and providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train new employees on custodial procedures and duties
  • Clean and disinfect all surfaces, floors, and equipment in the hospital
  • Restock custodial supplies and maintain inventory
  • Assign duties and monitor work quality to ensure high standards are met
  • Serve as a backup for all department-designated areas of the hospital

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Cleaning experience in a commercial environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing custodial services in a medical environment
  • Operating knowledge of and experience with custodial equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning products
