Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety procedures and best practices to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, employees, subcontractors, and clients, to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Conduct and coordinate worker safety training programs, including safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
- Investigate and document near-miss incidents and workplace accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Participate in project planning discussions to identify high-risk projects and tasks, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Manage and facilitate branch safety initiatives, including safety inspections and audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized certification board, such as the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or OSHA 500 Certified.
- 0-3 years of experience as a full-time safety coordinator or trainer in a well-structured construction safety program.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations as they apply to construction.
- Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective measures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pullman Company offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on relevant education and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation, tuition reimbursement, career development opportunities, and a caring work environment.
