Brand Ambassador

Job Summary:
The Brand Ambassador - Sales position is a dynamic field role responsible for promoting and selling products to tobacco and smoke shops within a designated territory. The primary focus is to grow new accounts, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and maximize product visibility and availability in retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute a daily workflow, updating progress, sending emails, and proposing weekly/monthly plans.
- Hit 15-20 doors a day and conduct 2 events per month to build relationships with retailers.
- Product Promotion & Distribution:
- Distribute sample packages and seeder packages to shop employees or owners during visits.
- Conduct follow-up visits to assess restocking needs, secure new orders, and deepen account relationships.
- Customer Acquisition & Data Collection:
- Focus on acquiring new customers and leads, documenting detailed information on Monday.com and Google Sheets.
- Document shop address, point of contact, shop's telephone number, shop's website, and competitor products carried.
- Market Reporting:
- Prepare a PowerPoint presentation at the end of each week and month summarizing activities, sales performance, market insights, and account growth.
- Identify and report potential local events for brand sponsorship opportunities.
- Budget Management & Event Promotion:
- Manage a monthly budget of $2,000 for off-premise opportunities aimed at network expansion.
- Utilize funds to enhance brand awareness by hosting events, providing hospitality, and inviting potential leads and customers to local events.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Maintain open communication with the Director and other team members regarding market conditions, competitive activities, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales strategies and enhance market presence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in field sales, brand promotion, or trade marketing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Proficient in using route planning software and data entry platforms, especially Monday.com.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Strong presentation skills with experience in creating detailed reports and presentations.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay:
- Base Salary: $3,000 per month
- Base Commission: ambassadors shall receive 8% on each sale.
- Sales Threshold Bonuses:
- If monthly sales exceed $10,000, ambassadors shall receive an additional 2% commission on the amount exceeding $10,000.
