Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse Medical Renal to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed.
- Perform lab and procedural tests within the LVN/LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
- Document patient care in a timely and thorough manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- LVN licensed in the state of Texas or a Compact State.
- BCLS certification.
- Graduate of a Vocational Nursing Program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience as an LVN in Med-Surg.
- Specialty certification/training as appropriate.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Computer skills.
