We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager - Financial Sales to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our branch operations team, you will be responsible for managing sales efforts and associates in a branch location, overseeing branch operations, and engaging in outbound calling activities to generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Sales: Achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to specific metrics and goals assigned. Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach. Represent the Bank in the community for the purpose of generating additional business and identifying potential CRA opportunities for the Bank.
- Team Management: Manage performance and personnel functions for a team, ensuring operational soundness while executing on a plan to deliver results that create value for the customer and meet the financial expectations of the bank. Drive accountability to role expectations, responsibilities, and authorities, providing one-on-one feedback and coaching that supports associate development and achievement of results.
- Service Standards: Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues. Initiate conversation to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
- Operations and Administration: Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions, and financial exposures.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a sales, customer service, lending, or financial services role, including supervisory experience.
- Or - High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a sales, customer service, lending, or financial services role, including supervisory experience.
- Other preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of business banking products and services.
- Experience with business development and building COIs.
- Management or supervisory experience.
